We write what we know.
We say what we don’t.
Duskvice is an independent outlet dedicated to Grand Theft Auto VI, born in French and now published in English too. This page explains how we work, what we refuse to do, and why.
About
Duskvice started from a simple observation: almost nobody was covering GTA VI as a serious subject. Not a fan account. Not a rumor aggregator. Not a channel that turns every tweet into breaking news.
We wanted to write about GTA VI the way a great newspaper covers a cultural blockbuster — calmly, with sources, with perspective — while keeping the editorial edge of a pop-culture desk. Our model: measured journalism, long-form investigation, and respect for readers who don't want to be manipulated.
Dusk is the moment Vice City shows its best colors. It's also when you finally sit down and actually read. Our promise: a site that is a pleasure to read, about a game you care deeply about.
Method
Every factual claim published on Duskvice goes through a verification cycle and gets an explicit reliability level. Four levels, from rock-solid to fragile, shown on every article and on every individual claim.
Our sources: the Rockstar Games Newswire, Take-Two Interactive releases, public court filings (US District Court, USPTO), reporting from Bloomberg / Jason Schreier / Tom Henderson, established insiders, verified community datamining and — when the story requires it — anonymous inside sources we cross-check.
We sign our articles. We date our sources. We correct our mistakes publicly. When we're wrong, we say so.
Reliability charter
Every factual claim is rated on one of these four levels. The color code appears throughout our articles and on the overall reliability badge at the top of each story.
- Confirmed
Verifiable official source (Rockstar Newswire, court filing, Take-Two release). No reasonable doubt.
- Plausible
Several matching sources, but no official confirmation. Treat it as likely, not certain.
- Unverified
A single credible source (established insider, solid datamining). Needs cross-checking, but not dismissed.
- Rumor
No verifiable source. We publish when the topic deserves it, with the status clearly flagged.
What we refuse to do
No clickbait headlines
If the headline doesn’t deliver on the story, we rewrite it.
No paraphrased quotes in quotation marks
Quotation marks mean exact words. Everything else is clearly reworded.
No leaks without context
We always separate a credible leak, a fan rumor and a plausible lie.
No promises we can’t keep
If we don’t know, we say so. Better a gap than a falsehood.
No hidden affiliate links
If an article contains a commercial link, it’s labeled. No covert advertising.
